CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – This March, the Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission is taking proactive steps to raise awareness about problem gambling during Problem Gambling Awareness Month.
The organization is hosting a “Gambling Disorder Screening Day Event” at PennWest Clarion University on March 11, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This event will be held at the Gemmel Student Center, located at 840 Wood Street, Clarion, PA 16214.
The event is open to the public and aims to provide valuable resources and support to individuals who may be struggling with gambling-related issues. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a brief screening that consists of three questions designed to identify gambling problems. In return, they will receive $5 food/drink vouchers and access to a wealth of resources and information.
