Looking for a student job to earn some cash while you study? Apple’s Support College Program offers students an opportunity to work remotely as At Home Advisors. The role requires you to provide technical support to Apple customers, helping them resolve technical queries with their iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks as a result.
If you’re not a tech pro, this shouldn’t be an issue either. Apple enrolls each At Home Advisor into a nine-week online training course, where they learn everything they need to know about the role including information about Apple products, troubleshooting techniques, and customer service practices.
To be eligible for the job you need to be able to work 20 hours, have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher, and have a baseline understanding of operating systems. These might sound like pretty tough stipulations, but it’s likely to be worth it, with At Home Advisors receiving competitive salaries, paid time off, discounts on Apple products, and a range of educational reimbursements.
However, if you don’t meet the eligibility requirements, or your skillsets lie elsewhere, there are tons of other ways to rake in income alongside your studies. Here’s our round-up of some great part-time remote opportunities that you can pursue while grinding as a full-time student.
