1B (Shelby)
• Choteau 66, Chinook 60: In a contest that was close all the way, the Bulldogs’ 18-11 run in the third quarter gave them breathing room, and they went on to finish off the Sugarbeeters (5-6, 5-13). Dax Yeager drained 22 points to lead the ‘Dogs, with Rusch Yeager hitting for 16 and Justyce Yeager adding nine. Ryan Bell (26 points) and Carson Nissen (21 points) powered the Cowboys; Bell hit six three-pointers and Nissen canned three.

• Rocky Boy 80, Cut Bank 62: The Stars (6-5, 11-7) got a whopping 40 points from Aeron Gopher, who drained nine three-pointers along the way. Willis Morsette tallied 14 points and Santana Stump and Jayden Stanley chipped in with seven points each. Thane Vaile drained four three-pointers and finished with 18 points to lead the Coyotes. Peyton Racine (14 points) and Kaje Ramey (12 points) were strong in support.
• Conrad 62, Shelby 57: The Cowboys broke away after halftime with a 19-9 run, and a fourth-quarter rally from the Coyotes came up short. Evan Walter nailed five three-pointers and tallied 23 points. Teagan Arnold and Reece Taylor netted 10 points apiece, and Noah Walter chipped in with eight points. Kody Standiford drained 21 points for the Coyotes and Kobe Hooker scored 17.
4B (Red Lodge)
• No. 8 Red Lodge 67, Shepherd 45: Nic Morean delivered 22 points and Calvin Garmann 17 for the Rams (9-3, 16-4), who led 21-6 in the first quarter and mounted a 20-8 run after halftime. Nate Reynolds hit for 12 points to lead the Mustangs. Quentin Roark added seven points. The Rams will play the Cougars of Columbus on Saturday.
• Columbus 45, Joliet 39: The Cougars notched their first-round win with 15 points from Ethan West, and support from Ethan Hulsey (nine points) and Grayson Williams and Colter Chamberlin, who had eight points apiece. Jake Cook produced 15 points for the J-Hawks.
• Park City 55, Roundup 26: Mason Tilzey (15 points) and Landry Streck (10 points) did the heavy lifting for the Panthers, with Carson Felchle providing eight points. Trey Stigen and Cedric Frome scored six points apiece to lead Roundup.
Class C
2C (Sidney)
• Culbertson 69, Richey-Lambert 31: The Cowboys (10-4, 12-7) built a 31-11 first half lead and cruised to a 2C victory. Bridger Salvevold led four players in double figures with 19 points. Ian Snyder delivered 14, Gavin Deen 13 and Brooks Solem 10. Beau Mullin led the Fusion (4-10, 4-15) with 12 points. Culbertson will play the Savage Warriors on Friday.
• Plentywood 63, Froid-Lake 21: Blowing out of the gate, the Wildcats raced to a 29-3 lead in the first quarter and went on to win their 2C opening-round contest. Nine players reached the scoring column, with Carson Solberg’s 22 points at the top. Nathan Trupe, Henry Kukowski and Ayden Kaul provided seven points apiece. Rylan Young led the Redhawks with 12 points. Plentywood will face Bainville on Friday.
• Bainville 56, Brockton 54: The Warriors had a 10-point lead at intermission, and the Bulldogs gained only two points in the third before going on a 14-4 rally in the final quarter to grab the win. Kaiden Holmes led the charge with 17 points. Isaiah Bjorge netted 13 points and Rowan Wilson 12. Josh Firemoon and Jarid Fasthorse Jr. poured in 13 points apiece to lead the Warriors.
• Savage 62, Westby-Grenora 32: The Warriors cruised past the Thunder in their 2C match, outscoring them 34-14 in the second half. No stats were reported for either team.
12C (Manhattan Christian)
• Sheridan 56, Shields Valley 50: The Panthers used a big fourth-quarter rally to get past the Rebels, outscoring them 21-12 down the stretch. No stats were reported for either team.
• West Yellowstone 57, White Sulphur Springs 33: Damian Ramales drained 18 points, Noa Flores hit for 11 and Rodrigo Salinas 10 as the Wolves had little trouble getting past the Hornets. Tanner Novark netted 14 points to lead White Sulphur Springs.
• Gardiner 51, Twin Bridges 40: The Bruins trailed by five at intermission, then launched a 17-6 run in the third quarter to take command. No stats were reported for either team. The Bruins advance to play West Yellowstone on Friday.
13C (Frenchtown)
• No. 9 Lincoln 68, Hot Springs 34: No stats were reported for either team. The Lynx (10-1, 17-2) advance to face the Blackhawks of Seeley-Swan tomorrow.

Class B
3B (Huntley Project)
• No. 1 Huntley Project 72, Colstrip 18: The powerhouse Red Devils (10-1, 19-1) ran to a 28-2 lead in the opening quarter, and held the Fillies to just seven points over the first three quarters as they staked their claim in the Class B tournament. Paige Lofing hit for 20 points, Sannah Windyboy had 13 and Haedyn Simonson 11. Maddison Akins chipped in with eight points. Jaeleah Harris scored six points for Colstrip. The Red Devils advance to play the Baker Spartans on Saturday. Baker and Huntley project split their regular season matches, with each team winning at home.
• No. 5 Baker 86, Lodge Grass 52: The defending B champs were firing on all cylinders, with ten players in the scoring column. Madison and Avery O’Connor poured in 23 points apiece, and Hope Gonsioroski tallied 11. The Indians (3-5, 6-11) received 20 points from Autumn White and 14 from Tailee Bird. Baker on Saturday will face the top-ranked Red Devils, whom they defeated in overtime at home on Feb. 7.
4B (Red Lodge)
• Roundup 33, Joliet 22: Annabelle Brown and Hallie Hofer scored 10 points apiece and Cassie Grasswick added six points as the Panthers (2-10, 5-15) upended the winless J-Hawks. MaryKatharine Dworshak had nine points and Jade Forsman eight for Joliet.
• Shepherd 63, Park City 33: Nine players hit the scoring column for the Fillies, led by Hailey Dennison with 14 and Rina Gottula with 11. Breelyn Fulton collected nine points. Ruby Bekkedahl drained 15 points and Macy Witt had 13 for Park City.
Class C
2C (Sidney)
• Brockton 50, Westby-Grenora 39: Ava Lone Bear got it done for the Warriors (8-6, 13-7), dropping 20 points, and Quintana Young delivered 12 points. Brockton jumped out to a 24-7 lead in the first quarter, and while the Thunder outscored them in the following three quarters, it wasn’t enough. Abby Lowes paced the Thunder with 10 points. Katelynn Folvag provided eight points.
• Richey-Lambert 68, Culbertson 21: The Fusion locked down the Cowgirls in the second and third frames, holding them to eight points while piling on 48. Jolee Klempel and Keira Rains did the heavy work with 21 and 20 points respectively. Brynne Hill knocked down 10 points. Stella Fox led the Cowgirls with 10 points.
3C (Wolf Point)
• Dodson 51, Nashua 33: Jazzlyn KillEagle led four players in double figures as the Coyotes dispatched the Porcupines. KillEagle had 15 points, including three treys, Cyrie Spotted Wolf delivered 13, Tissie Webb 12 and Precious Stiffarm 11. Dylan Bergstrom drained 16 points for the Porcupines. Katey Dykstra netted 12.
9C (Havre)
• Hays-Lodgepole 47, Turner 30: Shaydyn Blount poured in 16 points and Chaynell McConnell tallied 11 for the Thunderbirds (5-7, 11-8), with Kelcie Mount adding eight points. Bridget Reed paced the Tornadoes (4-7, 6-12) with eight points. The T-Birds will face the Longhorns of Fort Benton on Friday.
• Chester-Joplin-Inverness 50, North Star 34: Jayla Ramberg came through with 18 points, and the Hawks (9-3, 16-3) poured it on in the second half, outscoring the Knights 32-13. Brynn Kammerzell delivered 12 points, and Brie Mattson and Scarlet Sundgren added eight points apiece. Brea Sattoriva led the Knights (4-7, 10-8) with 16 points. Josie Stevenson contributed nine points. The Hawks advance to play Big Sandy on Friday.
• Big Sandy 66, Box Elder 30: The Pioneers came out hot, going up 18-9 in the first quarter and then tearing off a 27-6 barrage in the second frame. Eva Yeadon was unstoppable, pouring in 35 points. Jai Baumann hit for 10. Martay Stiffarm-Rosette scored 13 points and Shareece Raining Bird nine for the Bears.
