Florida State has a new defensive line coach Terrance Knighton and he has expanded their recruiting board with several offers. One of the most recent ones was to four-star prospect Jaimeon Winfield, who announced the offer Thursday on social media.
“After a great conversation with [Devin Rispress], [Terrance Knighton], [Chris Thomsen] I am Beyond Blessed to receive my 20th D1 offer from Florida state university,” he wrote.
Winfield is one of the top players in the 2026 recruiting cycle and projects as a defensive tackle in FSU’s 3-3-5 system. He also has offers from the Miami Hurricanes, Auburn Tigers, Baylor Bears, and several other Power Four programs.
He is coming off a strong junior season where he helped lead Richardson High School to a 7-5 record. He recorded 45 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and two blocked kicks. Here is everything you need to know about Winfield.
