CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The freight transportation company RXO will create about 216 new jobs over the next several years as it expands operations in Mecklenburg County, Gov. Roy Cooper announced Tuesday.
RXO is headquartered in Charlotte. To expand current operations, it will invest about $13.7 million.
Wages will vary depending on the position, but the average salary for new positions will be around $89,769.
The increase will bring RXO’s statewide headcount from 759 to 975 full-time employees.
