SAN ANTONIO – A free fitness program is offering new daily classes and wellness sessions across San Antonio.
The whole-body wellness program San Antonio Sports ACTIVATE offers free classes throughout the city’s 17 locations, according to a news release.
The program, which aims to encourage healthy lifestyles, is made up of four sessions leading up to a 5K.
Classes include BODYCOMBAT, step, boot camp, cardio toning, circuit training, yoga and Zumba. Monthly yoga pop-up classes and virtual class options, including CIRCL Mobility and Zumba, are also available.
The program offers other activities, including mental wellness sessions and cooking demonstrations with the San Antonio Food Bank.
Anyone interested in joining can sign up for classes anytime with the SAS ACTIVATE app and view the class schedule here.
Participants can also earn points toward free T-shirts and gift cards by attending classes, completing health screenings and attending the 5K at the end of a session.
