JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office had an unexpected guest at their golf invitational on Friday.
The Sheriff’s Office said a fox may have stolen from numerous golfers who were playing at the Sherrif’s Office Golf Invitational to benefit the JeffCo Deputy Welfare Fund at Crystal Highlands Golf Course. Photos of the fox were posted to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, showing the fox chasing after a golf ball and running off with it.
The sheriff’s office said the fox may have accomplices and may have victimized numerous golfers.
