FORT MYERS, Fla. – Four individuals from Florida Gulf Coast University men’s golf will compete in the 2024 Milton Makeup tournament beginning Monday in Miami Shores, Florida.
Nolan Harper, Sacha Ruiz, Christian Figueredo and Sebastian Gamboa will make the trip across Alligator Alley to represent the Green and Blue. The two-day tournament will take place at Miami Shores Country Club, hosted by Barry University and featuring eight Division II teams who also had their schedules affected by Hurricane Milton.
Live results of the tournament will be available through Scoreboard, powered by Clipped. Monday will mark the first action that any Eagle has seen since The Island at West Bay Club Collegiate Invitational was canceled on October 6.
Earlier this fall, Gamboa placed 10th at the Bearcat Invitational, and Harper finished 16th at the Rod Myers Invitational. The tournament will be the first of the season and career for Ruiz. As a squad, FGCU emerged No. 76 overall in the first official Scoreboard rankings of the year.
