VINCENT — On Oct, 30, Fort Frye FFA competed in the District Job Interview contest at Warren High School.
The contest involves preparing a cover letter, resume and references, completing a job application, partaking in a challenging interview with an industry professional, and crafting a follow-up letter, all in specific time frames.
Fort Frye announced every student placed in top 2 in the district against peers across the area, including: Alyssa White – Freshmen Division – 1st, Kallie Boley – Sophomore Division – 2nd, Christy Willis – Junior Division – 1st, Julia Silvus – Senior Division – 1st, Victoria Bradford – 1st Year Jr./Sr. – 1st.
Fort Frye congratulated all of these members for their hard work and dedication. Four of these members competed in the State Competition on Nov. 23. At the state contest Julia Silvus placed 2nd in her division, and Victoria Bradford placed 4th. All four of their state competitors are considered top 10 in the State of Ohio.
