Former New Orleans Saints LB A.J. Klein has announced his decision to step away from the game of football, via his Instagram.
In his 43 games played with the Saints through the 2017–2019 NFL seasons, Klein tallied 192 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, and a defensive TD. Regardless of the uniform he wore, his leadership and energy stood out no matter what, always giving back to the community and embracing the culture of the fan base. Saints fans will always be grateful for A.J.’s contributions to revitalizing this defense.
