It was quite the career in South Bend for defensive end Issac Rochell, as he was a three-year starter for the Notre Dame football program.
While he didn’t get drafted into the NFL early, as pick No. 225 in the 7th round, Rochell still managed to carve out a pretty successful career. He played for four organizations from 2017 to 2023, and wasn’t able to stick with the Oakland Raiders following jumping back and forth from the active roster to the practice squad.
That was the last time Rochell was on a roster, as on Sunday evening he officially retired from the NFL. He finishes with 114 tackles, 9.5 sacks and an interception over the course of 7 seasons.
It remains to be seen what Rochell will do now that he no longer will play football, but we all know whatever he chooses, he’ll do great at.
