Food Bank CEO offers advice on saving money when shopping

With prices on the rise in area grocery stores, KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News reached out to Jeff Quick, CEO of the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas for tips on how to shop smart and save money.
The Food Bank of NCA offers classes aimed at buying better foods while spending less. These Cooking Matters classes also feature a trip to the store to look for values. Quick has several ways to save money, and one big way is to shop local.

According to a report from the National Public Broadcasting system, pricing is up across the board, with some of the biggest jumps showing up in produce, laundry detergent and sugar. They also noted that some products have actually been reduced in size, but the prices are still higher.
