Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles are still looking for experienced and talented players for Herb Hand to mold along the offensive line. Today brings word that they have now landed another, this time talented transfer Luke Petitbon from Wake Forest:
Petitbon is a 6’2, 295 pound lineman originally from Annapolis, Maryland. He primarily played center for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, earning a 70.8 overall PFF grade in 2024 with a 88.3 pass-blocking grade.
Petitbon made honor roll during every semester, not an easy accomplishment at an institution like Wake Forest. His high football IQ will be immensely helpful as the rebuilt Seminoles offensive line transitions to life under Hand and Gus Malzahn.
He’ll have one year of eligibility remaining and will very likely be FSU’s starting center in 2025.
From his Wake Forest bio:
