Florida State basketball returns home today for their third game of the season against Tarleton State.
The Seminoles are 2-0 on the season after two convincing wins, most recently against Rice in Houston. Jamir Watkins dropped 30 points as the Seminoles ran away from the Owls in the second half. Both were Quad-4 wins, and it will be another Quad-4 opportunity tonight against the Texans.
Tarleton State is 0-2 to start the new year, including a loss on the road against SMU 96-62. Bubu Benjamin, a 6’7’’ guard, currently leads TSU in scoring with an average of 19 points a game.
The Seminoles are looking for a win in their final tune-up before their first test of the season, a match-up against top-25 Florida, at home in Tallahassee on Friday.
The tip-off tonight is at 7 p.m., and the game can be found on ACC Extra or ESPN+. ESPN Bet says FSU are 16.5-point favorites with an over/under of 146.5.
