Florida football will play under the lights at The Swamp when it hosts UCF in its next game Oct. 5.
UF announced the in-state matchup with UCF will kick off at 7:45 p.m. and air on the SEC Network.
The Florida Gators (2-2, 1-1 SEC) get a bye this week after winning 45-28 at Mississippi State in their first road game of the season.
UCF (3-0, 1-0 Big 12), under fourth-year coach Gus Malzhan, is coming off a 35-34 come-from-behind win at TCU on Sept. 14. The Knights had a bye last week and will host Deion Sanders-led Colorado on Saturday.
Florida is hoping for a better result against an in-state foe at The Swamp after falling 41-17 to Miami at home to open the 2024 season.

Florida is 2-1 all-time against UCF, though the Knights won the last meeting between the two schools, beating UF 29-17 on Dec. 23, 2021 in the Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa.
