Florida football announced it will hold its annual Pro Day on March 27 at the Condron Football Indoor Complex.
NFL scouts will converge upon Gainesville for the annual event to evaluate former Florida Gators who are draft eligible. At least one UF player has been taken in the NFL Draft every year since 1967. Last year, UF had one player selected, wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who went in the first round (31st overall) to the San Francisco 49ers.
In all, 18 former Florida Gators will complete, including former UF starting quarterback Graham Mertz, who suffered a torn ACL last October, wide receiver Chimere Dike, who ran a 4.34 in the 40-yard dash over the weekend at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, and running back Montrell Johnson Jr., who ran the fifth-fastest time for running backs in the 40 (4.41 seconds) at the combine.
Pro Day events will include weight room weigh-ins, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump as well as the 40-yard dash, 60-yard shuttle and position workouts.
This year’s NFL Draft will take place from April 24-26, 2025 in Green Bay, Wis.
