Florida baseball’s Wednesday home game against Florida A&M has been postponed due to inclement weather, according to the UAA.
The game will still be played but on March 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Condron Family Ballpark. All tickets purchased for Wednesday’s contest are valid for the rescheduled date. Fans can contact the Gator Ticket Office at (352)-375-4683 for more details.
Now the attention shifts to a three-game weekend series against Dayton, beginning on Friday at 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network+. Saturday’s game will be played at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at noon, both on SEC Network+ (requires subscription).
With the shortened second game on Saturday against Air Force and this midweek postponement, Florida’s pitching staff has a ton of arms that haven’t thrown in-game yet this season. It’s only the second week of the season, but the delay is notable for many pitchers expected to play key roles out of the bullpen this year.
