It may only seem like a short while ago FlightSimExpo 2024 had wrapped up, but it’s already time to start thinking about FlightSimExpo 2025. As we already know, FlightSimExpo 2025 will be taking place at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI, USA. We now know the first travel details ahead of the event next June.
With FlightSimExpo being hosted in a convention center for the first time, it has enabled the team to secure various hotel rates within the area providing the community a range of locations to stay at. That said, overnight guests are encouraged to stay at the Omni Providence Hotel, which is connected directly to the Rhode Island Convention Center and Providence Place Mall. It is a 4-star hotel that offers various amenities and sweeping views of the area. Room rates start from $199 per night (plus tax) and there is no resort fee.
This rate is the lowest the property has ever offered and offers plenty of guests upon arrival. FlightSimExpo does advise that if you are looking to book you do so as soon as possible due to limited room availability.
As mentioned, there are other properties nearby, and FlightSimExpo has also secured room rates for Marriot and Hilton brands, with prices ranging from $199 – $229 per night. Links to all properties, including the Omni, can be found in the hotel section of the website. Most properties are within a 5 minute walking distance of the convention hall hosting FlightSimExpo 2025.
After you have paid for your hotel, you will need to consider getting to Rhode Island. You can either fly directly to Providence or fly to Boston and take the train or bus to Rhode Island Convention Center (just shy of an hour on the train).
As with previous years, FlightSimExpo has secured discount rates for airlines including Delta, United, WestJet and others. More information can be found here.
Attendee registration begins on December 14th 2024, with a discounted rate for FSA Captains. This means those registered can pick up a 3-day event pass for just $50. When registration does open, you can be notified by joining the FlightSimExpo mailing list.
FlightSimExpo 2025 kicks off on Friday, June 27 2025 with #FSExpoFriday Seminars at 1pm. The afternoon session will see a selection of developers announce all new exciting products for the year ahead. On Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, June 29th, the floor will be open to registered attendees to try out the latest hardware, test upcoming software and interact with like-minded people. Throughout the weekend, expect organised trips, a series of talks, and social events.
We’ll be sure to cover this in a lot more detail as more gets revealed.
No developers or speakers are yet to be confirmed, but we are expecting this information to come the first quarter of 2025. If we find out anything in the meantime, we will of course keep you updated.
