Two Back Mountain Chamber businesses recently partnered together to offer a special workshop titled “Fitness Over 40” presented by fitness expert and author Ken Wall.
The event took place on Jan. 17 at the Trucksville United Methodist Church. The focus was to learn how to build and maintain sustainable fitness habits.
Ken Wall, founder of Move Better 570, brought nearly 30 years of experience in fitness andnutrition. He is the author of two books: “S.M.A.R.T. Training for Over 40” and “HuntingBeyond Limits: Age-Defying Fitness for the Field.”
The Trucksville United Methodist Church is committed to making disciples and making a difference. Through events and initiatives that promote personal growth and community wellness, the church seeks to enrich the lives of individuals and families in the Trucksville area.
In addition to the workshop, attendees enjoyed light, healthy snacks and took away actionable fitness and nutrition tips.
