MELROSE, MA — btone FITNESS is coming to Melrose with its newest location set to open on Monday, Nov. 25.
With the addition of the new location on 511 Main St., the chain now has 18 locations throughout the Commonwealth, with one additional location each in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Btone Melrose is owned and operated by Lynnfield resident Jenny Sheehan. She described the experience as a hybrid between resistance training and yoga pilates. Btone works to set itself apart from its competitors by incorporating music with its workouts for any attending members.
“I’ve had my sights set on Melrose since the beginning days of franchising. It just felt like the perfect home for a new btone studio. A sort of city-like feel in the suburbs,” Sheehan said. “We love that it’s right downtown… surrounded by other like-minded businesses.”
Founder Jody Merrill expressed her confidence in Sheehan’s ability to lead the Melrose branch of her fitness chain. The Melrose location is slated to feature 12 custom-engineered machines to focus on “total-body tone” workouts.
Btone Melrose is offering classes at a limited-time rate prior to its launch.
