Cobra Golf
No matter how many technological advancements an equipment manufacturer can pack into its offerings, none of those goodies matter if the clubs don’t fit the golfer.
That’s the core philosophy behind Cobra Golf’s latest innovations: the all-new DS-ADAPT metalwoods and irons. The clubs not only incorporate cutting-edge tech but also bring a renewed emphasis to precision tuning that’s both more robust and easier than ever to adjust.
At the heart of the new DS-ADAPT family are four new driver models: DS-ADAPT LS, DS-ADAPT X, DS-ADAPT MAX-K, and DS-ADAPT MAX-D. Each model features Cobra’s innovative FUTUREFIT33 adjustable hosel system, offering 33 unique loft and lie settings that can now be adjusted independently for the first time in a Cobra driver, providing golfers with a huge range of fitting options on the fly.
The fitting tech is “a true breakthrough in metal wood fitting,” said Jose Miraflor, VP of product architecture and consumer connections at Cobra Puma Golf. “Never before has any hosel system provided 33 unique loft and lie settings that can be adjusted so quickly and easily.” Miraflor said the range of settings is more than four times what Cobra’s previous hosel system offered and more than double the settings offered by Cobra’s nearest competitor.
Not only does Cobra’s new hosel allow for more adjustable settings than ever before, but it also enables loft, lie and face angle to all be adjusted independently thanks to SMARTPAD technology, which keeps the clubface square.
While 33 options may seem intimidating to players, the company has provided a chart to show the flight from each setting. Once player settle on the proper head and shaft combination but still see a shot heading in a particular direction (high and right, for example), they would head to the setting on the opposite edge of the matrix (F2 is low and left, in this case) and work around that quadrant to find the best fit.
The chart can be quickly accessed by scanning a QR code printed above the hosel.
The new drivers also incorporate refined aerodynamics, adaptive weighting that builds upon Cobra’s PWR-BRIDGE and H.O.T. Face Technology for increased face flex and greater distance, even on off-center strikes.
The DS-ADAPT family will be available for fitting and pre-sale Dec. 12, with retail and online availability starting on Jan. 10, 2025.
Here is a breakdown of each of the four DS-ADAPT models.

Designed for golfers with faster swing speeds, the LS model reduces spin off the tee while offering greater shot-shaping versatility. According to Cobra, the LS features the most advanced aerodynamics in the line, thanks to its raised rear section, higher crown peak, and new heel aerodynamic shaping. It also boasts the most compact address profile of the four models (445cc), along with three adjustable weight ports for fine-tuning any kind of shot shape.
