SEGUIN, Texas – Are you in the Hill Country area and looking for a job?
A collaborative effort between Seguin, New Braunfels, Cibolo and Schertz’s economic partners brings the first Regional Job Fair this year on Feb. 6, according to a news release.
The event is set to take place at the Seguin Coliseum in the 900 block of South Austin Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with over 60 employers.
“We’re excited to host this regional job fair, bringing together talented job seekers and dynamic employers to strengthen our local economy. This event is a testament to our commitment to fostering economic growth and creating opportunities for our communities,” said Isabella Ellis, an economic development specialist for the City of Cibolo.
Interested job seekers should dress in business casual attire and bring several copies of their most updated resume.
Job seekers should also be prepared for on-site interviews by employers at the Winter 2025 Regional Job Fair, and job offers are not off the table.
According to the press release, jobs from entry-level to advanced across various industry types.
Examples of hiring job sectors include government, entertainment, public education, and technology, among others.
Josh Schneuk, executive director of Economic Development for the Seguin Economic Development Corporation, said, “We are proud to host the first regional job fair of 2025 in Seguin, Texas, a collaborative effort that highlights our region’s commitment to driving economic development and strengthening workforce opportunities. This event serves as a platform for connecting local talent with leading employers in our region. We look forward to seeing job seekers and businesses come together to build a stronger, more vibrant regional economy.”
