Federal Realty Investment Trust announced the renaming and rebranding of Pan Am Shopping Center as part of its ongoing repositioning efforts. The 228,000-square-foot community shopping center, located in Fairfax, Virginia, will be rebranded as “Providence Place.”
“We look forward to unveiling the newly rebranded Providence Place which is a nod to the community and history of the area while providing an exceptional experience for shopping, dining, and personal services,” said Deirdre Johnson, Senior Vice President at Federal.
The shopping center is currently undergoing significant renovations, including a refreshed color palette, façade upgrades, a new canopy ceiling with updated lighting, and the addition of two trellis features complemented by new furniture. Providence Place is located at 3089 Nutley St, and is anchored by Safeway, Michaels, Micro Center, and CVS Pharmacy, Providence Place also offers a variety of services and dining options including Glory Days Grill, Starbucks and Pro Nails.
