Jaiswal and Rohit put the Bangladesh bowlers under immense pressure with their explosive batting. Jaiswal kicked off the innings by hitting Hasan Mahmud for three consecutive fours in the opening over. Rohit followed suit in the second over, launching Khaled Hasan for two back-to-back sixes. In the third over, Jaiswal continued to dominate, scoring two more sixes and two fours against Mahmud.
Within just 3 overs or 18 deliveries, India reached the fifty-run mark, surpassing their own record set earlier this year against England’s ‘Baseball’ team in Nottingham. This blistering start propelled India to the 100-run milestone in a mere 10.1 overs, breaking their previous record of 12.2 overs, established against the West Indies in 2023.
