Northwood University is announcing the creation of the Fast Break Club to support NU Women’s Basketball.
“Our mission is to engage alumni, faculty and friends in a life-long relationship of support for Northwood University Women’s Basketball,” explained Northwood Athletic Development Officer Leonard Haynes.
“We are thrilled about the launch of the Fast Break Club,” added Northwood Women’s Basketball Head Coach Autumn Haggadone. “This initiative is about more than just funding — it’s about building a community of supporters who believe in the growth and success of our student-athletes both on and off the court. Together, we can elevate Northwood Women’s Basketball to new heights.”
The primary objective is to provide meaningful and sustainable financial support to Northwood University Women’s Basketball. Proceeds will go toward additional student-athlete scholarships, staffing needs, recruiting and operating costs, in addition to creating a reserve fund for deferred projects.
“Our goal is to narrow the annual operating budget gap that exists vis à-vis other successful mid-size, university women’s basketball programs to ensure that our student athletes, coaches, and staff are equipped to maximize their potential on the field, in the classroom, and in their communities,” Haynes added.
This donor-friendly program provides opportunities to participate at different levels, as well as flexible payment options. Gifts are 100% tax deductible. To support the effort, visit https://www.northwood.edu/advancement/athletic-donation-clubs/fast-break-club/
