Moi.NYC is a budding fitness-focused platform that spills the wellness secrets of the fashion industry’s finest and hosts the hautest workout classes in the city. AAASports56 is an emerging brand that strikes the perfect balance between sport and style.
While AAASports56 produces workout wear that plays with fashion and functionality – think sporty micro shorts and compression camis – Moi.NYC supports the style-savvy as they forge their own fitness journey. So, it only makes sense that the two have come together for a collaborative capsule collection. After fostering a digital-turned-IRL friendship in 2024, Gabby Cadet, Fashion Office Associate for Moda Operandi, and Creative Director Amanda Perez spotlight the synergy between fashion and fitness with the AAASports56 x Moi.NYC Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
From pilates to press previews and run clubs to runway shows, this SS25 selection is an adaptable apparel line for the on-the-go girls. “We prioritized wearability when designing these pieces, ensuring they’re versatile enough to fit seamlessly into your weekly outfit rotation,” Perez shares. “Each piece incorporates a sporty vibe while still feeling elevated and stylish. Perfect for someone who wants to show up looking put-together while staying completely comfortable.”
High-fashion hustlers have their pick of the posh performance-ready pieces, including a striped, long-sleeve “Topkini,” a ’90s-inspired color-blocked tracksuit and a heather grey activewear set. The duo didn’t skimp on details throughout the design process of the SS25 styles, making sure that every added element elevated the looks. “The tracksuit, for example, is packed with thoughtful details – the waist cincher, the ruffle at the back and the silver accents,” Cadet describes. “The Topkini,” Perez starts, “is a standout piece for those who love combining a bikini top with a long-sleeve shrug. We took those elements to the next level, creating a sleek full-zip long-sleeve with an attached bikini top – perfect for a night out.”
The ready-to-wear range has already received a stamp of approval from fashion’s heavy hitters, including jewelry designer Martine Ali, Who Decides War’s Tela D’Amore and stylist Chantelle Thach and this weekend, January 25 and 26, you’ll be able to cosign the collection too at the AAASports56 x Moi.NYC two-day pop-up at ROOME NYC.
“Imagine being in a room full of women from your industry, all feeling that burn together during intense leg pulses – it’s a connection like no other,” Cadet shares. “We navigated the challenges of a floor pilates class side-by-side, sharing laughter, encouraging one another and sighing with relief at the completion of each round. I cherish the opportunity to introduce participants to one another before or after the class, knowing they already share something in common.”
Community-building and cultivating genuine connections comes naturally to Cadet and serves as the foundation for Moi.NYC, which began as intimate interviews with inspiring women in her industry on Instagram and has since expanded, as seen to events. “[I interviewed] powerful business owners, talented editors, inspiring singers, celebrity trainers and visionary designers who seamlessly incorporate health and wellness into their lives while excelling in their fields. I found it incredibly inspiring that these women prioritize their wellbeing while achieving greatness in their fields.”
As Moi.NYC caught speed, it also caught the attention of Perez, a Bronx native and mother of one whose wellness and workout journey – much like Cadet – became a passion. “When I first connected with Gabby on Instagram, I immediately knew we were destined to become friends,” she says. “Our shared passions for our brands was undeniable and it was clear that [Moi.NYC] and AAASports56 aligned perfectly – we’re both all about empowering women.”
“Initially, I had envisioned AAASports56 being integrated into one of Cadet’s events, but as we talked, it became clear that we could dream bigger. Together, we realized the potential to go beyond targeting one community or city and instead create something that could resonate with women everywhere.”
The dynamic duo accomplished just that with their collaborative collection, available now on AAASports56 official website and their upcoming two-day pop-up event at ROOME NYC to celebrate the RTW capsule.
