Week 8 was also National Tight Ends day, and by the time the Sunday night game began, 16 touchdowns were scored by tight ends. That has been the complete opposite story of what this season has been. Regardless, fantasy football managers were undoubtedly happy — especially those rostering Kyle Pitts.
After a couple of weeks of up-and-down production, Pitts delivered his best game of the season against Tampa Bay, scoring twice.
Yes, we know the Buccaneers defense has been a punching bag this season. But hey, if our players can’t perform in the easy matchups, how can we be confident when the matchups get tough?
Thankfully, the matchups remain breezy for Pitts the next few weeks, as he’ll take on the hapless Panthers up next in Week 9.
