National Tight End Day featured a plethora of scoring at the position, a much-needed resurgence from a much-maligned roster spot for fantasy managers.
And if tight ends are producing, then you can expect Travis Kelce to be involved. The veteran did just that, catching 10 passes for 90 yards and a touchdown. DeAndre Hopkins’ presence is probably a plus for Kelce, and we may have seen that effect in Week 8.
After a slow start to the season, Kelce has had some strong weeks of late, and Week 8’s 25-point output was his best of the season.
Week 9 is a huge opportunity for Kelce to build off his huge performance, as the Chiefs will take on a Tampa Bay defense that has been shredded of late. Kelce has big upside in what could be a high-scoring game.
