The Vikings defense, which started the season off so strongly, has been humbled of late. After allowing 31 points to the Lions in Week 7, Minnesota then gave up 30 to the Rams. The Vikings defense has been especially vulnerable on the ground the past two weeks, as all three of David Montgomery, Jahmyr Gibbs and Kyren Williams had great fantasy days.
You can imagine how this proud stop unit must feel heading into Week 9.
The Colts represent a much easier matchup for the Vikings, but they’ve benched Anthony Richardson for Joe Flacco, and Jonathan Taylor is finally healthy. And as mentioned, the Vikings have been bleeding production on the ground the past few weeks.
Will they bounce back in a plus matchup against a supposedly lesser opponent?
Check out where the Vikings land in our D/ST rankings for Week 9:
