I’m in two fantasy playoffs — one with my friends at Meadowlark Golf Course and the other with RIIP Pizza. So, one of my teams has the trio of Justin Jefferson, James Cook and Keenan Allen. And in the other league, I was going up against … you guessed it: Justin Jefferson, James Cook and Keenan Allen. I almost shot the moon to win in both leagues, but my mate had Brandon Aubrey AND the Falcons defense (What a pickup!). That’s fantasy football, folks. Sometimes the breaks go your way. Sometimes you keep starting Cooper Kupp. Seriously, if you’re this far with Cooper, I commend you.
BTW, do you think we can figure out who wronged Max Homa here? For the record, I play fantasy golf. I’m a NEVER RORY guy. Love Max. He’s the best.
I know this is the Flex column, but I’m going to quickly brag about one of my fantasy teams, which made it to the finals with C.J. Stroud at quarterback. I deserve some kind of medal for that. My friend — and my opponent last week — had to chose between Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow. I’ll allow you to figure out who he started. Now, onto the notes …
