If you’re looking to get started this Friday, the matchup between Arizona and Kansas State offers value on the spread.
This Friday matchup features two teams looking to rebound after underperforming last week.
I’m backing Kansas State to cover the 7-point spread.
The Wildcats faced a tough opponent in Tulane, a team that went 10-3 last season and could be a College Football Playoff contender. In contrast, Arizona struggled offensively against an FCS team, with quarterback Noah Fifita underwhelming and wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan disappearing after a standout performance the week before.
While Arizona’s 61-point performance against New Mexico State in week one looks impressive, New Mexico State allowed 35 points to FCS Montana State, making that output less convincing. On the other hand, Kansas State’s defense came up clutch in the fourth quarter last week, delivering a 60-yard scoop-and-score and a game-sealing interception in the end zone.
Although some are predicting a shootout, I expect more defensive play as both teams tightened up in the second half last week, and neither offense has been consistent through the first two games.
Fanatics Sportsbook promo first bet pick: Kansas State-7
A $100 cash wager on the Kansas State -7 (-110) would net you $90.91 in winnings plus $100 in bonus bets. However, if Arizona covers , you’ll just receive $100 in bonus bets to match you wager.
