Jaxon Tippet, 30, is believed to have died from a heart attack.
“It comes with such heartbreak and heavy hearts that our beloved Jaxon has tragically passed away while on a holiday to Turkey,” his family said in a statement.
“There really are no words to describe this sort of pain, and we know a lot of people will be feeling this heartbreak with us as he was loved by so many.”
“From what we have been told, Jax passed away due to a heart attack while in Turkey,” an Instagram story posted by Tippet’s family said.
Tippet had a sizeable online following with more than 227,000 followers as a fitness coach, model and podcaster.
In the past, Tippet has spoken about his struggles with addiction to steroids and body dysmorphia.
It is not yet known exactly when Tippet died, but his family are raising funds to bring his body home and cover his funeral expenses.
“Jaxon would help anybody and everybody around him and now I hope we can get around Sharee and Mark to help assist in any way we can,” they said.
Tippet’s friends and followers also took to his Instagram to pay their tributes.
“I wish this wasn’t true you were such a positive light and you were so supportive of me,” Australian rapper Chillinit wrote.
“I love you brother your message lives on, fly high and rest at heaven’s gates king.”
