Do you remember when the New York Jets’ win against the Houston Texans on Oct. 31 was supposed to be a transformation of sorts into a push for the playoffs (and a winning team)?
On Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals responded with a big fat “LOL” in an embarrassment of the Jets 31-6 to drop New York to 3-7 and add to their misery, if that was possible at all. In this game, the Jets’ offense gained 207 yards as quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 151 yards on 22 of 35 passing. Running back Breece Hall ran for 52 yards, and receivers Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams combined for 72 yards. The Jets’ defense was gashed for 406 yards and 7.1 yards per play.

As the losses get worse each week, people around the NFL expressed more of their disbelief that a team this talented could be this bad.
Ex-NFL QB Robert Griffin III: The New York Jets are further proof that it takes more than talent to win in the NFL. The culture of your team and its leadership will make or break you.
NFL analyst Trey Wingo: The Jets are done..season is over and now they are facing the harsh reality of what happens going forward: close to 30 players on expiring contracts..a soon to be 41 year old QB who looks it..a coaching staff that will probably be gone. This is what rock bottom looks l
FS1’s Craig Carton: Hey @woodyjohnson4 perhaps it’s time to take the best offer, pocket $8 Billion move to London and give Jets fans the hope that a new owner would change things. We deserve so much better than this and maybe roll back those ticket price increases for next year as well.
Ex-NFL QB Chase Daniel: They need a complete rebuild, a brand new QB, & offensive minded head coach (Ben Johnson). The question will always be whether Woody Johnson will open up his checkbook to make these things possible. The real reason they are one of the most dysfunctional organizations
ESPN host Mike Greenberg: There isn’t much left to say that isn’t redundant and obvious. The #Jets are terribly coached, their talent is overrated, and they play with absolutely no fire. Nothing about them is enjoyable to watch or root for. This disaster of a season cannot possibly end fast enough.
