Michigan State basketball is considered a lock to make the NCAA Tournament, according to one prominent bracketologist.
Joe Lunardi of ESPN is in full swing of NCAA Tournament bracket review and analysis, which included a breakdown of where numerous teams stand entering this past weekend. One of those teams was Michigan State — who he lists as a lock to make the NCAA Tournament.
Michigan State was one of only 13 teams at the end of January that he considered a lock to be dancing in March. Purdue was the only other team from the Big Ten that had lock status from Lunardi.
Michigan State dropped its first game in over two months on Saturday, losing at USC by the final score of 70-64. With the loss, Michigan State basketball is now 18-3 overall and 9-1 in Big Ten play.
