The 28-year-old produced seven birdies and a bogey in a six-under-par third round to move to 11 under in Florida.
Overnight leader Angel Yin, of the United States, went round in 67 and is at the top of the leaderboard with Thailand’s Jeeno Thitikul.
Thitikul carded a stunning 63, which included seven birdies and an eagle.
American Nelly Korda is on nine under after a third-round 69, with New Zealand’s Lydia Ko one shot further back.
