Emma Raducanu’s former coach has claimed that the man who was given a restraining order in Dubai this week followed her across four countries for at least three weeks in a “calculated” and “terrifying” campaign of harassment.
The man displayed “fixated behaviour” towards Raducanu in Dubai before he agreed to distance himself from the British tennis player, who then dropped charges.
Roman Kelecic, who worked with Raducanu in Abu Dhabi recently and also coached her before she turned professional, told Croatian outlet Net that the man had followed her since Singapore in January.
