Michigan football had great success in 2025 bringing in three four-star safeties in Kainoa Winston, Elijah Dotson, and Jordan Young. But the Wolverines want to continue to secure top talent at the position in the next class, and they’re making moves with some top prospects around the country.
On Thursday, 2026 Winter Park (Fla.) four-star safety Ayden Pouncey revealed his top 10 schools, and Michigan football made the cut, along with Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Florida, Miami, UCF, Florida State, North Carolina, and Syracuse. Listed at 6-foot-3, 160 pounds, Pouncey is a long, rangy defensive back that already has a strong appeal across college football.
