Emma Raducanu and Anna Kalinskaya are the leading names involved with the Brit set to face off against Cristina Bucsa with a qualifier at least in the second round. But she could face off against the Russian top seed who will face Caroline Dolehide in the opening round.
Ajla Tomljanovic or a qualifier awaits the winner. Elise Mertens is second seed who takes on Taylor Townsend with Starodubtseva or Maria in the second round. Amanda Anisimova has got a wildcard and will face Xiyu Wang. Ann Li or Daria Saville await the winner in the second round.
Others involved include Xinyu Wang, Polina Kudermetova, Camila Osorio. The WTA Singapore Tennis Open is a women’s tennis tournament that was first held in 1986 as the Carlsberg Singapore Women’s Open. The event ran annually until 1994, with a brief hiatus between 1991 and 1993.
During this period, the tournament featured notable champions such as Gigi Fernández and Naoko Sawamatsu. After a long absence, the tournament is set to resume in 2025. This marks the return of the WTA Tour to Singapore after a seven-year hiatus since the 2018 WTA Finals.
