What does Mar-a-Lago look like? Drone video shows an aerial view of former President Donald Trump’s home and private club in Palm Beach.

Almost anyone who pays attention to President Donald Trump’s whereabouts knows that he spends a great deal of time in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Not only does he own the famous Mar-a-Lago Resort and Club in Palm Beach, he also owns the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach and a golf course in Jupiter. But did you know that the president also owns a golf course near Miami?
Here’s what we know about Trump National Doral Golf Club, where Doral is and how many golf courses Trump owns.
According to a 2022 list from Golfweek, Trump owns 15 golf properties around the world (11 of them are in the U.S.). There will soon be a total of 18, with three more golf courses coming soon to Oman and Indonesia.
Here’s the list of Trump’s golf properties, from Golfweek:
Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Resort and Club does not have a golf course on its campus, but Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach is less than 10 minutes away.
“Five minutes from The Mar-a-Lago Club sits the spectacular Trump International Golf Club, West Palm Beach. The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences awarded Trump International with the prestigious Five-Star Diamond Award, rating it the best golf course in Florida,” the Mar-a-Lago website says.
“This incredible golf course, designed by world-renowned architect, Jim Fazio, boasts 27 of the most magnificent golf holes anywhere and a clubhouse that has no rival in the state of Florida.”
It’s important to note that Mar-a-Lago is a private club, not a resort hotel that’s open to the public. A hefty membership fee is required to join, and Mar-a-Lago is like a country club for the uber-wealthy.
Trump’s Miami golf course, Trump National Doral Golf Club, isn’t in Miami proper, but the address says it is in Miami. Trump’s Miami golf course is in Doral, which is a part of the Miami metropolitan area.
“Trump National Doral Golf Club is conveniently located in the heart of Miami just eight miles from Miami International Airport. It is home to four of the top championship golf courses in Florida, including the legendary Blue Monster,” the golf club’s website says. “Members and guests enjoy a luxury golf resort and spa experience featuring plush accommodations and 5-star service.”
Doral, Florida is its own city – not a part of Miami. But it is a part of the greater Miami area and sits just a few minutes west of the Miami International Airport.
To join the Trump National Doral Golf Club as a member, you have to submit a contact form through the club’s website. There are different tiers of membership, from full golf memberships, to social memberships.
Here are the kinds of membership packages at Trump National in Doral, according to its website:
According to the website, a membership at Trump National also includes member access to other Trump Golf properties, both domestic and international.
