Do the Boston Celtics have cause for concern given their rough play since Thanksgiving? For many fans of the team, there is little if anything to worry about, given this is the same roster by and large that won it all in the 2024 NBA Finals. But for others, the Celtics hovering around .500 for much of the season has them anything but comfortable — even considering Boston’s sizzling start to their current campaign.
And one league analyst who knows as much about the Celtics as anyone recently tipped his hand that he thinks Boston does have some reason to be concerned about their recent spate of mediocre play — Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix.
Speaking on a recent episode of the “Open Floor” podcast, Mannix explained why he is feeling a bit worried about Boston’s recent play. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what he had to say.
