Poster, who won the Grade 2 Remsen on Dec. 7, worked three furlongs Monday morning at Three Diamonds Training Center in Lexington. His time of 36.22 seconds was the faster of two three-furlong works on the day. A son of Munnings trained by Eoin Harty, Poster is undefeated in three starts and won the Remsen in his stakes debut. He was not an individual interest in the second Kentucky Derby Future Wager pool but is 45-1 in Las Vegas.
Coal Battle, who stepped onto the Kentucky Derby leaderboard with a 10-point win in the Remington Springboard Mile, worked Monday morning for the first time since that Dec. 13 race. His four-furlong time of 49.4 seconds was 28th fastest of 87 such works on the dirt at Oaklawn. Trained by Lonnie Briley, Coal Battle has three wins in five starts, including a victory in the Jean Laffitte Stakes at Delta Downs. Coal Battle is 100-1 in Las Vegas, but was not an individual interest in the second Kentucky Derby Future Wager pool.

Big Boat (Nyquist) worked five furlongs in 1:00.6 at Oaklawn on Monday morning. It was the fourth fastest of 22 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed second in an allowance race going one mile on the main track at Oaklawn on Dec. 13 for trainer James DiVito.
Coal Battle (Coal Front) worked four furlongs in 49.4 seconds at Oaklawn on Monday morning. It was the 28th fastest of 87 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he won the Remington Springboard Mile going one mile on the main track at Remington Park on Dec. 13 for trainer Lonnie Briley.

Studlydoright (Nyquist) worked six furlongs in 1:16.6 at Laurel Park on Monday morning. It was the faster of two works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed fourth in the Remsen (G2) going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Aqueduct on Dec. 7 for trainer John Robb.
Voila Magic (Volatile) worked three furlongs in 39.4 seconds at Fair Grounds on Monday morning. It was the sixth fastest of seven works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed fourth in the Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile going six furlongs on the main track at Fair Grounds on Dec. 14 for trainer Steve Asmussen.

In his last start he won a maiden race going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Oaklawn on Dec. 13 for trainer Tom Amoss.
Barnes (Into Mischief) worked six furlongs in 1:12.8 at Santa Anita on Sunday morning. It was the fastest of six works at the distance. His previous work was eight days ago going four furlongs at Santa Anita. In his last start he won a maiden race going 5 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Churchill Downs on Nov. 27 for trainer Bob Baffert.
Neoequos (Neolithic) worked four furlongs in 51.6 seconds at Gulfstream Park on Sunday morning. It was the 61st fastest of 73 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going three furlongs at Gulfstream Park. In his last start he placed second in the FTBOA Florida Sire Affirmed going seven furlongs on the main track at Gulfstream Park on Oct. 19 for trainer Saffie Joseph Jr.
Spurgeon (Honor A. P.) worked five furlongs in 1:03.2 at Oaklawn on Sunday morning. It was the 35th fastest of 47 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed seventh in a maiden race going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Oaklawn on Dec. 13 for trainer Kenny McPeek.
Tiztastic (Tiz the Law) worked four furlongs in 51.0 seconds at Fair Grounds on Sunday morning. It was the 82nd fastest of 107 works at the distance. His previous work was nine days ago going four furlongs at Fair Grounds.
