Journalism, winner of the Grade 2 Los Alamitos Futurity in his last start, worked Saturday morning at Santa Anita. The Michael McCarthy trainee went five furlongs on the dirt in 1:01.0. He has been working regularly since late January, and is currently nominated to the Grade 2 San Felipe on March 1.
Journalism remains toward the top of the Kentucky Derby markets. As of Sunday he was 30-1 at Caesars Sportsbook in Las Vegas. In the fourth Kentucky Derby Future Pool through Churchill Downs, he was 19-1 when it closed Sunday.
