CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Denison University women’s golf team moved up to No. 16 in the updated Division III Mizuno Women’s Golf Coaches Association Coaches Poll announced on Friday.
The Big Red totaled 196 points to push up in the Top 25 rankings. Denison wrapped up its fall season earlier this week by taking second place at the Wittenberg University Fall Invitational. Lizzy Grant led the way by tying for third place at the event.
Last week, Denison placed 10th at the highly competitive Golfweek Invitational in Sandestin, Fla. on Oct. 13-16.
Denison will return to action when the spring season opens up at the South Georgia Invitational on March 10-11.
