A popular Wilmington shopping center will welcome several new businesses in 2025, including some long-awaited arrivals.

Mayfaire Town Center, located along Military Cutoff Road, already boasts a variety of stores, restaurants and a Regal cinema. With additional developments underway nearby, the area has continued to grow in recent years.

Paige Coniglio, local leasing manager and marketing director for CBL Properties, provided an update on what will soon be joining Mayfaire’s directory.

What stores are coming to Mayfaire and when?

YogaSix

Location: 6801 Parker Farm Drive, Suite 135, Wilmington.

Expected opening: Late February 2025.

More details: YogaSix is a yoga studio offering six different class types, accommodating all skill levels.

Dave & Buster’s

Location: 953 Town Center Drive, Wilmington.

Expected opening: Summer 2025.

More details: A restaurant and entertainment business, Dave & Buster’s offers food, drinks, an arcade and big-screen TVs for sports viewing.

Aerie

Location: 6859 Main Street, Wilmington.

Expected opening: Late February 2025.

More details: A sub-brand of American Eagle Outfitters, Aerie is an intimate apparel and lifestyle retailer offering a wide range of activewear, loungewear, lingerie, sleepwear, accessories and more.

Art in Bloom

Location: Expanding and relocating to 970 Inspiration Drive, Wilmington.

Expected opening: March 2025.

More details: Art in Bloom is a gallery representing “an eclectic mix of original, traditional, and contemporary works of art” from more than 30 artists, Coniglio said.

Kendra Scott

Location: 6880 Main Street, Wilmington.

Expected opening: Spring 2025.

More details: Kendra Scott is a designer jewelry store offering a collection of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.

J. Crew Factory

Location: 920 Town Center Drive, Wilmington.

Expected opening: Late April 2025.

More details: A retail store with a variety of apparel and accessories for men, women and children, J. Crew Factory offers lower price points compared to its parent brand.

Drybar

Location: 920 Inspiration Drive, Wilmington.

Expected opening: Spring 2025.

More details: A premium hair-styling company specializing in blowouts.

Rowan

Location: 6866 Main Street, Wilmington.

Expected opening: Fall 2025.

More details: Rowan is hypoallergenic piercing studio, staffed by licenses nurses, offering a safe piercing experience for all customers.

What impact will these businesses have on the area?

With the anticipated opening of several major brands in 2025, following new stores arriving in 2024, Mayfaire Town Center continues to grow.

“These additions will enrich the overall guest experience, elevate the tenant mix, and attract more retailers to the market, while driving continued growth and enhancing the area’s appeal,” Coniglio said.

Are there any additional spaces currently available for lease?

Currently, there is one vacant space available at Mayfaire.

“Our leasing team is in discussion with prospective tenants,” Coniglio said. “We look forward to making additional announcements once leases are executed.”

What’s the latest on the new hotel coming to Mayfaire?

In addition to new retail, service providers and entertainment spaces, Mayfaire Town Center is also planning for the addition of a new hotel — known as The Element Hotel by Westin.

The hotel caters to both those looking for short and long-term stays, with an “outdoor-inspired, sustainability-focused design philosophy,” The Element will feature “spacious and airy guest rooms with in-room kitchens, spa-inspired bathrooms, and signature Heavenly Beds,” Coniglio said.

The hotel is slated to open this summer.
