ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Belmont men’s golf team is tied for 10th place as darkness suspended play Monday at World Golf Village Collegiate held at The King and Bear Course in St. Augustine, Florida.
With one to three holes remaining in their second round, Belmont is tied for 10th place with IU Indianapolis at +37. North Florida has the team lead at Even, while Bellarmine is in second place at +25.
Leading the way is sophomore Jack Darke. The Georgia native, competing as an individual, is tied for 16thplace at +5. He is 13 strokes back of the individual leader, UNF’s Brett Schell (-8).
Junior Conner Brown and sophomore Chris Harpum are four shots behind Darke and in a tie for 32nd place at +9.
Graduate student Foster Wood and sophomore Grey Goff are in a tie for 47th place at +11, while freshman Brennan Cozad is tied for 56th place at +12.
The second round will be restarted at 7:00am CT Tuesday morning. Once completed, the field will start their third and final round.
