The Shipping Deputy Minister to the President, Ms. Marina Hadjimanolis is travelling tomorrow, Saturday 1st February 2025, to the Sultanate of Oman, following an official invitation by the Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Mr Saeed bin Hamoud bin Saeed al Maawali.
During her stay in Oman, the Shipping Deputy Minister, will hold bilateral meetings with the Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and other Government officials, as well as with the heads of the state-owned shipping company Asyad. In the framework of the meeting with the Minister of Transport, two Memorandums of Understanding, will be signed, between the Republic of Cyprus and the Sultanate of Oman, on maritime transport issues.
The Shipping Deputy Minister will then travel to Qatar, where she will attend the conference: “Seatrade Maritime Qatar exhibition and conference 2025” following an invitation by the Minister of Transport of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani. During her stay in Qatar, the Shipping Deputy Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Transport and will also have meetings in the context of promoting Cyprus shipping.
