Fast and fair service
Founded 10 years ago by Josh Campbell, the company is unique because it provides 24-hour service with quality top of mind. With that foundation, Rescue Air and Plumbing has built a strong reputation and repeat customer base over the years, allowing it to grow and eventually acquire Texas Green in November 2021.
This allows the business to offer a well-rounded list of services:
Shaping the next generation of leaders
Campbell is passionate about his work, finds it deeply fulfilling and therefore wants to help the next generation develop a similar career path. He said jobs in HVAC, plumbing and similar fields remain in high demand, offering a stable career choice with significant earning potential.
“There’s a massive shortage in our industry,” Campbell said. “There’s so many more people needed, and it’s such a great opportunity. The people who come to this and find it’s a good fit for them love it, and they do it for the rest of their lives.”
Campbell’s goal is to provide regular mentorship to young adults. He often speaks to high school students, highlighting the benefits of HVAC and plumbing jobs, and addressing common misconceptions, overall demonstrating the practical benefits of pursuing a trade.
Community partnerships
To provide real-world insights to students, Rescue Air and Plumbing collaborates with Junior Achievement of Dallas and Collin College.
When young professionals decide to pursue a career in the trades, Rescue Air and Plumbing supports them through comprehensive training, technical education, certifications and on-the-job experience—all fully funded by the company. This eliminates financial barriers and ensures employees are prepared for long-term success in the industry.
One recent success story involves an employee named Austin who advanced from a warehouse position to a lead installer role within two years. By the age of 21, he was earning a six-figure salary and had purchased his first home.
“You can come in our door with nothing, and we’re happy to bring guys in,” Campbell said. “Then maybe you start doing maintenance agreements, and we put you through a heating and air school and teach you how to do service. Then you start running doing actual maintenance on people’s systems. We can develop you into a full-fledged service tech.”
Local outreach
In addition to focusing on the HVAC and plumbing industry, Rescue Air and Plumbing supports various other organizations that do good for the larger Dallas community, including:
These efforts reflect the company’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond its core business operations.
