A Planet Fitness club in Cumberland County has closed temporarily.
Planet Fitness Gettysburg Pike is undergoing a full remodel.
The club is adding more strength equipment; a mobility an stretching room, which will include new equipment, stretching mats and a stretching bar; and a strength and agility room that will include power racks, lifting platforms, turf area for personal workout space, dumbbells and air bikes.
The gym will reopen on Monday, although some updates to the club will continue through early December.
The gym is located at 101 Gettysburg Pike in Upper Allen Township. The facility is open from 4 a.m. Monday through 9 p.m. Friday, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the weekends.
Planet Fitness Gettysburg Pike opened at its current location a decade ago after relocating from a nearby facility.
Planet Fitness Gettysburg Pike is owned by National Fitness Partners, which is based in Lower Allen Township, and owns more than 170 Planet Fitness clubs in 13 states. The company most recently expanded into Indiana and Tennessee.
