DENVER (KDVR) — After saying goodbye to Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders at the end of the 2024 season, the University of Colorado Buffaloes are looking to the 2025 season with a newly released schedule.
The 2024-25 season was one for the record books. CU ended with a 9-4 record, their best in years, and the 25th spot on AP’s poll. The team also went to their first bowl game since 2020.
While the Buffs have steadily improved since their abysmal 2022 season, where they ended 1-11, the team is looking to the future and preparing for their second season in the Big 12 Conference.
Here is the CU Buffs full football schedule for 2025:
If the Buffs are at the top of the conference, they’ll go on to play in the Big 12 Championship, Saturday, Dec. 6 in Arlington, Texas
A big character in the Buff’s recent growth is the addition of head coach Deion Sanders. After the 2024-25 season, there was speculation that Sanders could pursue an NFL head coaching job with the Dallas Cowboys.
While Sanders called the proposition “intriguing,” the head coach said he loves Boulder and everything that comes with it.
CU posted the full 2025 schedule on their social media accounts and the calendar was accompanied by a photo of Sanders, so it is safe to say Coach Prime will be chasing that championship title for at least one more season.
