As conference races narrowed in the last week, athletes in Central Wisconsin matched the intensity throughout the week across all winter sports.
From triple-doubles to school records, plenty of last week’s performances are worthy of recognition across Marshfield, Stevens Point, Wausau, and Wisconsin Rapids.
Here is a look at the very best showings from Feb. 3-10.
Zack Jeidy, Pacelli: Jeidy notched 12 points, 10 rebounds, and six blocks on Feb. 3 against Wittenberg-Birnamwood.
Jett Rogowski, Wittenberg-Birnamwood: Rogowski led all scorers in a win over Pacelli on Feb. 3 with 28 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Then he dropped 38 points on Feb. 4 against Weyauwega-Fremont.
RJ Meddaugh, Tri-County: Meddaugh recorded a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds to help Tri-County beat Stockbridge on Feb. 3.
Miguel Morillon, Colby: Morillon stuffed the stat sheet on Feb. 3 against Athens, finishing with 17 points, seven rebounds, 12 assists, and six steals.
Charlie Gierl, Medford: Gierl led Medford to a win over Altoona on Feb. 4 with 23 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.
Camden Schurk, Pacelli: Schurk led all scorers in Pacelli’s 85-37 win over Rosholt on Feb. 4 with 29 points, three rebounds, four assists, and five steals.
Brody Dernbach, Almond-Bancroft: Dernbach notched 18 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, and two steals on Feb. 4 against Port Edwards.
Luke Hannula, Colby: Hannula finished with a triple-double of 22 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and 11 steals on Feb. 4 against Spencer.
Brayden Reinke, Mosinee: Reinke paced all Mosinee scorers with 30 points in their loss to the Evergreens on Feb. 4.
Cohen Priebe, D.C. Everest: Priebe recorded 25 points, three rebounds and two assists on Feb. 4 against Mosinee.
Casey Stuedemann, D.C. Everest: Stuedemann led the Evergreens to a win over Mosinee on Feb. 4 with 26 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists against Mosinee.
Jaydan Garrett, Wausau East: Garrett led the Lumberjacks to a win over Lakeland on Feb. 4 with 29 points.
Andrew Hoeser, Neillsville: Hoeser scored 25 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and five steals on Feb. 7 against Gilman.
Marcus Kohl, Rosholt: Kohl scored 33 points and eight rebounds en route to a win over Wild Rose on Feb. 7.
Brynden Beck, Port Edwards: Beck notched 36 points, six rebounds, and three steals on Feb. 7 against Tri-County.
JT Schlaefer, Assumption: Schlaefer led Assumption with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists on Feb. 7 against Athens.
Riley Schultz-Becker: Schultz-Becker reached 32 points, eight rebounds, and six steals on Feb. 7 against Assumption.
Xavier Edwards, D.C. Everest: Edwards scored 32 points and added eight rebounds and three steals on Feb. 7 in a win over Wausau West.
Grant Chandonais, Stevens Point: Chandonais dropped 26 points, four rebounds, and four assists on Feb. 8 against Sun Prairie East.
Makenna Rettler, Tri-County: Rettler scored 10 points and added 12 rebounds, three assists, and two steals on Feb. 3 against Stockbridge.
Melaina Granquist, Wittenberg-Birnamwood: Granquist notched 26 points, 11 rebounds, and a block on Feb. 3 against Pacelli.
Rory Salvesen, Wittenberg-Birnamwood: Salvesen recorded 20 points and six assists on Feb. 3 against Pacelli.
Mya Dernbach, Almond-Bancroft: Dernbach scored 30 points and added four steals in a win over Gresham Community on Feb. 3
Reese Grimm, Pittsville: Grimm notched 17 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals on Feb. 3 against Auburndale.
Anna Schooley, Assumption: Schooley recorded a monster double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds on Feb. 3 against Neillsville.
Madi Davel, Neillville: Davel led Neillsville in scoring with 20 points, nine rebounds, and three assists on Feb. 3.
Brayden Lamer, Tomahawk: Lamer notched one goal and three assists in Tomahawks’s 9-0 win over Rhinelander on Feb. 4.
Jonah Dickens, Tomahawk: Dickens completed a hat trick performance on Feb. 4 against Rhinelander.
Tyler Baars, Mosinee: Baars recorded three goals and two assists for Mosinee on Feb. 4 against Medford.
Elliott Yirkovski, Mosinee: Yirkovski also notched a hat trick on Feb. 4 in a 7-0 win over Medford.
Conner Zdroik, Merrill: Zdroik notched two goals on Feb. 4 to help Wausau East-Merrill knock off Marshfield 6-0.
